Here's my display an the Omaha
Summer Arts Festival 2002 held on June 28th to 30th. This is a
juried Art show. Whether you get in or not has to do with the
judging of slides of your work that you send in with the
application. This show just changed locations this year to the
Gene Leahey Mall. It's just down the hill from the old location (by
the Courthouse) in the Old Market section along a beautiful
grassy mall with a riverwalk that goes down to the Missouri river.
Got to love those eager Customers!
Looking up towards the city center.
The tree lined walk behind our displays really helped with
those 100 degree days on Saturday and Sunday.
The resident Swans
Omaha looks beautiful at night and people enjoyed the street
dance on Saturday night. The beer tent was quite popular too. They
have entertainment throughout the show. Chuck Mangione was a
featured performer this year. A lot of good "World Music"
too.
Here's an unusual brooch I sold to an old customer this
year.
